As a vine it possesses all the advantages of an easy houseplant whether as an elegant trailing plant or a huge leaved climber. It enjoys moderate to bright indirect light and well drained soil that stays moist and aerated.

As a vine it possesses all the advantages of an easy houseplant whether as an elegant trailing plant or a huge-leaved climber. It enjoys moderate to bright indirect light and well-drained soil that stays moist and aerated. After approximately 10 years this philo will produce beautiful small white flowers.
The name "Silver Sword" accurately describes this philos stunning foliage. Serene silvery hue is contrasted by its sharp lance-shaped leaves. The elegant Silver Sword's foliage makes for an absolutely wonderful statement piece for your home, plant collection, or even in a terrarium.
Even more intriguing is that this philo will change the shape of its leaves as it gets older, going from the sword like shape to more of an arrowhead shape. When the leaves start to change it looks a little more like a Syngonium, which is absolutely incredible!
